The Power of the Pause
Lately, I’ve found myself sitting in a quiet kind of awe.
Not because life is still—but because life is moving in ways I can barely keep up with.
Things are unfolding around me and within me. Beautiful, holy things. Conversations I didn’t expect. Moments that feel divinely orchestrated. A text message that arrived exactly after a conversation about forgiveness. A song in church that cracked something wide open. Three people sitting in the same pew, hearing the same sermon—and each walking away with a completely different message… and yet somehow, each message was exactly what that person needed.
This is the kind of mystery I find myself wrapped in right now.
And I’ll be honest—it’s a bit overwhelming.
I’m not ready to share all the details.
Not because I’m afraid—but because I’m still in it.
Still breathing it in.
Still letting it settle.
Still trying to process the last unfolding while a new one begins.
It’s like standing at the edge of the water, watching one wave roll in just as another begins to rise behind it. And there, between the waves, is this pause. This holy moment. This deep breath of life where the noise stops, and all I can feel is… God is here.
I don’t need all the answers. I’m not rushing the clarity.
In fact, I think I like the mystery.
There’s something sacred about being in the middle—where you know something is happening, you know you’re being changed, but you haven’t quite found the words yet. And maybe you’re not supposed to.
Maybe the words come later.
Maybe right now, what matters most is just being awake enough to witness it.
So for now, I’m listening.
I’m journaling.
I’m praying.
I’m sitting on my porch in the early morning stillness with my Bible and my dogs, hearing the whisper of leaves and the invitation to stay in this sacred space just a little bit longer.
And when the time is right, I’ll share more.
But if you’re also in a season that feels tender, shifting, or sacred in a way that no one else quite sees—
I see you.
And I hope you’ll stay in the mystery a while longer too.
✨ Sometimes that’s where the real miracles unfold.
